Any reference to “we”, “us” or “our” refers to NZ Pastry OE operating under the PRALINZ brand.

2. Acceptance, Scope, and Statutory Rights

By using this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy and Returns & Delivery Policy. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

3. Definitions

  • Customer / you: the person placing an order or using the website
  • Products: goods offered under the PRALINZ brand

  • Order Confirmation: the email confirming acceptance of your order

4. Your Account

If you create an account, you must ensure your details are accurate and kept up to date. You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at our discretion, without charge to you.

5. Contract Formation

Your order constitutes an offer to purchase Products. We accept your order when we issue an Order Confirmation. The contract is completed upon delivery of the Products.

6. Orders, Amendments, and Cancellations

All orders are subject to these Terms. We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel orders at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, misuse of the website, or breach of these Terms.

Amendments: Once placed and paid, amendments are not guaranteed. If you wish to amend an order, contact us as soon as possible. If production/packing has not started, we may attempt to accommodate the change.

Cancellations:

  • Before dispatch: If you request cancellation before the order has been dispatched and before preparation has materially begun, we may cancel the order and issue a full refund using the original payment method.
  • After preparation has begun: Once production, packing, or preparation has started, cancellation may no longer be possible due to the perishable and customised nature of our products.
  • After dispatch: Once an order has been dispatched to the courier, it cannot be cancelled. The withdrawal exceptions for perishable goods described in the Returns & Delivery Policy apply.

If you wish to cancel, you must contact us immediately at nz@nzpastry.com. Cancellation is only confirmed once you receive written confirmation from us.

7. Payments and Security

All payments must be made when the order is placed. We do not reserve or dispatch products before payment is received.

Payments are processed securely via ePOS provided by National Bank of Greece S.A. We do not store full card details.

Email warning: Do not send payment information by email. We cannot guarantee the security of data when communicating by email.

Where applicable, the website uses SSL encryption (you will typically see “https” and a padlock in your browser).

8. Prices and VAT

Products are priced in EUR.

  • VAT: Included in all displayed prices
  • Shipping fees: displayed at checkout

Pricing errors: If a pricing error occurs, we may contact you to reconfirm at the correct price or cancel the order. We are not obliged to honour incorrectly priced orders.

9. Product Description, Specifications, and Image Accuracy

We make every effort to ensure products displayed on the website conform to descriptions and photographs.

Handcrafted variations: Minor variations in shape, decoration, finish, weight, and packaging are inherent and do not constitute defects.

Colour & screen disclaimer: Colours and details seen online depend on your device and monitor calibration/resolution; we cannot guarantee that your display accurately reflects the colour or finish of the item delivered.

Right to change: We reserve the right to vary from time to time the dimensions, specifications, descriptions and quantities of items displayed on the website without prior notice.

10. Substitutions (Gift Boxes & Collections)

In the event of supply difficulties, we reserve the right to make substitutions with items of equal or greater value, while maintaining the overall quality and theme.

11. Marketing Communications

If you purchase or enquire about our products, we may send information about similar products and offers where permitted by law. You can opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.

If you have not purchased/enquired, we will only send marketing communications if you have consented.

12. Age Restriction

Some of our products may contain alcohol. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally permitted to purchase products containing alcohol under applicable law.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if we reasonably believe that the purchaser does not meet the legal age requirement. We may request additional age verification where legally required.

We are not liable for delays or failure due to events beyond our reasonable control (extreme weather, courier strikes, power outages, etc.).

These Terms are governed by Greek law. Courts of Piraeus have jurisdiction.
